The Robin Hood Marathon takes place on Sunday 27th September 2015 and will require diversions to several Nottingham City Transport services and the suspension of two services until roads re-open later in the day.
With the brand new route including roads through the City Centre, the marathon will have a greater impact on our bus services than in previous years and customers are advised to plan ahead and travel earlier than they normally would to reach their destinations.
There are no suitable diversion routes for Pink 30 to Wollaton or Orange 34 to University Park and these services will be suspended until approx. 12:00 and approx. 16:00 respectively.
Services that are diverted include the 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 8, 10, 11, 28, 35, 36, 44, 48, 77, 78 and 79 and full details of the diversions are available at www.nctx.co.uk/marathon or by calling the NCT Travel Centre on 0115 950 60 70.
NCT will be providing live updates through social media on Marathon Day to keep customers informed: Facebook.com/nottinghamcitytransport and at @NCT_buses on Twitter.
