Marcia Jones School of Dance in Beeston has raised an amazing £1,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support Nottinghamshire campaign by holding a dance and raffle at the Beeston Club.
Macmillan is the UK’s leading cancer support charity giving personal, one-to-one care and support to thousands of people every day.
The money raised by the club will go back into the local community, helping Macmillan support more people living with cancer in Nottinghamshire.
Stacey Smalley, fundraising manager for Macmillan in Nottinghamshire, told the Beeston Local News: “With support from local clubs and groups like the Marcia Jones School of Dance we are able to support even more people when they need us the most.
“It is a pleasure to meet young and inspiring people in Nottinghamshire with a passion for helping others.”
