The University of Nottingham’s sponsored Life Cycle 5, is taking place at Nottingham Lakeside Arts on Sunday 23 August in aid of dementia research.
There are four distances available from 10 to 75 miles. Take part just for fun or to test your stamina, there’s a route for everyone. Plus invite family and friends to come along and enjoy a day’s entertainment, with a BBQ, live music and more!
More than 800,000 people in the UK have dementia and one in three of us has a friend or loved one who is affected. The University’s Nobel Prize-winning expertise in MRI scanning will give new insight into dementia and how it damages brain cells. Every pound raised will pave the way to earlier diagnosis and better treatment.
