Talented music artist Jaymal Davis is continuing to make a name for himself in the music industry.
We first featured the Clifton resident back in August 2017 and since then he has gone from strength to strength.
Jaymal, who says his influences include Stormzy, Wretch 32 and Yxng Bane, has seen his first release of the year, Passed Out, awarded the BBC Introducing Track of the Week.
He told the Clifton Local News: “ One of my favourite bassline producers of all time has remixed one of my songs.
“Recently, a talent scout who works for X Factor has seen my music online and has invited me for an audition.
“In addition, I’m set to perform at two big festivals this summer and I will be making club appearances in Manchester and Newcastle.
“So many people are telling me this year is mine and I’m actually starting to believe it. I am so excited.”
His fanbase continues to grow and it’s not just the UK where Jaymal is a hit, as he also has a strong following in Germany.
“My goals this year are to hit 100,000 views on a video, hit 200,000 streams on a song and I am also planning for my own clothing line,” he added.
