Holme Pierrepont Hall hosted a summer lunch on for local businesses, including representatives from Fraser Brown, Mazars, Smith Cooper, Foodzeen and Asiana. The owners of the hall, Robert and Charlotte Brackenbury, showcased their lovely family home which is available to hire for corporate away days, meetings and dinners.
The Medieval Grade I listed Tudor Hall and its picturesque gardens offer numerous possibilities for parties and corporate events. The Long Gallery, for example, with its family portraits and medieval fireplaces can sit up to 120 for dinner and 200 for a drinks reception.
The Mediaeval Lodgings which dates back to 1500, with its exposed beams and atmospheric log fire, is perfectly suited to small dinners of up to 40 people and up to 75 for a drinks reception. Alternatively, the whole house can be taken over. The Brackenbury’s have recently linked up with Nottinghamshire’s award-winning pub group Moleface, who also offer an excellent outside catering facility.
John Molnar, MD of Moleface, said: “We are very excited to be working with one of Nottinghamshire’s most stunning venues. The opportunities to use this lovely house are huge, whether it be a corporate function, wedding or christening. We can provide bespoke packages, whether it be a formal three-course dinner, a finger buffet or even BBQs and picnics.”
Many businesses are already planning for their Christmas celebrations and so the Mediaeval Lodgings was set up with a festive feel.
Robert Brackenbury said: “Holme Pierrepont is a perfect and unique choice for Christmas. Not only is it a beautiful, atmospheric venue, it also gets you out of the busy city centre and yet you’re only 10 minutes away.”
