A very special Halloween fancy dress party took place at Silverdale Community Centre in aid of the Danielle’s Flutterbyes charity, which helps young people living with kidney disease.
Danielle’s Flutterbyes was set up to help make the lives of young adults between the ages of 16 and 30 living with kidney disease more bearable.
The charity is named in honour of Danielle Stretton, who sadly lost her five-year fight to kidney disease at the age of just 24.
Her mum, Ruth Braddock, who set up the charity, said: “We had over 100 people attend the party.
“All the children were in Halloween costumes and everyone had a great time.
“There was then some fun games and then a Mr M C Parker Funmaster took over entertaining the kids for approximately two hours with a disco.
“There was a magic show, puppets and loads more – all in honour of Danielle.”
