A former tattoo parlour on Varney Road has been given the green light to be changed into office space.
Creative Paths submitted a planning application to the Nottingham City Council in August and they were given conditional permission for the change late last month.
Creative Paths are a none-profit organisation who provide arts for health workshops, creative and digital community learning, along with opportunities for meaningful activity for individuals in receipt of health and social care services.
The building, which has stood vacant since January this year, will be the headquarters for the firm and will offer services to those at risk of loneliness or isolation.
Two part-time and two full-time jobs will be created as part of the new opening of the office.
The organisation will aim to provide learning opportunities for people living in the area who may not be able to access courses through other routes, and they work in people’s homes as well as community venues and care homes.
