Local bus operator CT4N, part of Nottingham Community Transport, has again stepped in to save vitally important bus services that were due to be axed. These popular shopping buses linking towns and villages in Rushcliffe with Gamston Morrisons were due to end on 24th June, but now CT4N have announced that they will replace these routes from Tuesday 25th.
The S2 and S3 that run on Tuesdays and Thursdays linking Bingham, Radcliffe and Keyworth to Gamston Morrisons will continue as now. CT4N will also add a further new service S4 from East Bridgford and the Clumber Drive area of Radcliffe on Trent also running on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The current S4 service operated by Silverdale Tours from Cotgrave to Gamston Morrisons is already covered by CT4N service 33 that operates hourly on Mondays to Saturdays.
CT4N Managing Director, Ian Combellack, said: “We are thrilled that again, we are able to step in and replace these vitally important local bus services that were due to be withdrawn. These routes provide a lifeline for many people as it is their only way to access local shopping facilities.”
Single and day return fares are available on the new services and concession passes are accepted for free travel. Route, timetable and faresinformation for the new services can be found at www.ct4n.co.uk.
