The Riverside Festival will return to the Victoria Embankment from Friday 31st July to Sunday 2nd August – and thanks to sponsorship from the BMI The Park Hospital, it will be better than ever.
Riverside is a free, fantastic day out for the whole family, with a huge variety of fun things to do.
Nottingham City Council expects the festival to attract more than 250,000 visitors. The main draw is live music across four stages and interactive entertainment for kids in the children’s zone and along the river, plus a funfair.
As ever, the popular fireworks display – always a favourite with visitors – will end the evening on Saturday at 10:30pm.
The sponsor for the 2015 Riverside Festival is BMI The Park Hospital. This specialist hospital, situated in Nottingham, offers private medical care for people in the city.
Sponsorship income from this and other events is invested directly back into improving this free event for the people of Nottingham.
John Lindars, executive director at BMI The Park Hospital, said: “We are delighted to announce our sponsorship of the Nottingham Riverside Festival. We are delighted to be able to support such a well-loved and well-attended community event.
“At BMI The Park we really do feel that we are serving the healthcare needs of the whole community and this is a great way of getting our message across to the people of this region.”
Councillor Dave Trimble said: “We’re immensely proud as a city that we put on fantastic, free events such as the BMI The Park Hospital Riverside Festival for the people of Nottingham to enjoy, and we’re confident that this year’s festival will truly be a fantastic weekend out.
“We’re also very pleased to announce our partnership with BMI The Park Hospital, which allows us to make Nottingham’s biggest free festival even better.”
