Council are asking for your views

24/07/2019 by Digital Media

Broxtowe Borough Council is asked residents, businesses and community groups for their views as part of its Let’s Talk Broxtowe consultation.

The consultation will help the council to shape its new corporate plan, which outlines what it plans to do over the next four years.

To have your say residents can complete and online survey or attend one of six roadshow events taking place across the borough.

Paper questionnaires are also available on request and the council will be contacting local groups and organisations asking them to get involved.

Anyone who participates will be in with a chance of winning £50 worth of shopping vouchers in a prize draw.

Roadshows will take place locally on the following dates and times…

Tuesday 10th September at 7pm at Christ Church, Chilwell

Tuesday 24th September at 7pm at the Old Council Chamber, Beeston

Leader of the council, Milan Radulovic MBE, said: “We want to make sure that our plans for the next four years reflect what local people want to see in our borough and that’s why we’ve launched this consultation.

“As well as completing it online, residents will be able to come and speak to councillors and council officers in person to hear what we’ve done so far and what we want to do in the future.”

Deputy leader, councillor Steve Carr, added:  “This is your opportunity to tell us what you’d like to see in your local area, so please do get involved and have your say.”
