Following last year’s success, the second Cotgrave Open garden event will take place on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd June from 2pm to 6pm.
Entrance will be £3 which will be valid across the two days and the nominated charity is Dove Hospice.
Dove Cottage Day Hospice is a registered charity. It welcomes up to 20 guests at a time with significant care needs.
It also supports their family members. Guests remain in the care of their GP and usually attend one day each week.
We would love to exceed the £900 donation that we gave to Cotgrave Ash Lea School last year.
Although it is still early days, we already have over 10 committed open gardens to date for the 2019 event, but are looking for even more. There were 19 last year.
Gardeners can choose whether to open on either or both days. Gardens don’t have to be perfect or large.
Small gardens can be of particular interest and give visitors new ideas to create their own space to love and enjoy.
Supporting grants have been received from Cotgrave Town Council and Nottinghamshire County Council, which will help to cover costs of insurance and publicity.
Please help us by spreading the word to your family and friends.
