Loads of laughs will be on offer at Beeston Victory Club this week as Oxjam Beeston takes over for its first ever Comedy Night, all for a great cause.
There’s no better way to spend an evening than chuckling along to four hilarious Comedians who will take to the stage at the Beeston Victory Club on Thursday 30th July from 7.30pm all in aid of Oxfam.
Oxjam have teamed up with NCF Comedy, to put on a fantastic line up including:
- Patrick Draper, Nottingham Based Deadpan Comedian
- Wayne Beese, Deadpan, Nominated for Nottingham Comedy Festival Comedian of the Year 2014
- Hannah Silvester, Birmingham-based stand-up and comedy songwriter
- Fran Jenking, comedian from Wollaton whose dark stand-up routines address his everday struggle with his past and ego
Tickets are a bargain £5 each and can be purchased from www.oxjambeestontakeover.org/comedy or on the door with all proceeds going to Oxfam.
The Oxjam Beeston Music Festival has raised over £30,000 and is now in its 5th year, it will be taking place this year on the 17th October. It has helped to launch the careers of local musicians such as Miss 600 and Saint Raymond. Last year’s line-up includes The Protoneers, I am Jupiter, IVORYSERFS, Josh Kemp, I AM LONO, The Madeline Rust, Emma Bladon Jones, Joe Barber and The Phil Langran Band
