With a cluster of girls moving up to local Guide groups and others moving out of the area, the 1st Clifton Brownies have room for more.
The 12 current members are aged between seven and 10 and come from all over Clifton. They meet on Thursday evenings from 6pm to 7:30pm at Clifton Village Hall and have a busy time with themed crafts, trips out, team games and work on their badges.
Other treats are film nights and chippy suppers, and the girls always rise to the challenge of adventurous activities like skating and climbing.
“We must be one of the busiest Brownie groups in the county and have a full programme planned for next term,” says Brown Owl Deidre Nall.
“But what the girls would really like is to go away on a pack holiday and we need just a few more members to make that possible.”
All enquiries about joining 1st Clifton Brownies are very welcome. Contact Deidre Nall on 07940 141312 or email email@example.com.
