The 44th Company of the Nottingham Boys Brigade is one of 30 companies, which make up the Nottingham Battalion and are connected to the Methodist Church, Rivergreen, Clifton.
Set up on 1st October 1962, the 44th Nottingham Company and Girls Association is currently run by Ian and Elizabeth Arnold, who are the officers in charge and helper, Emma Anderson.
They have agreed to help with the Nottingham Clean Champion campaign and are busy drawing up litter posters that will be published on our local facebook platforms weekly – creative posters with a serious message.
I visited them on 5th October and watched them prepare the first draft of their posters – wonderful imaginative work.
The children clearly understand what’s needed. Next month I’ll publish examples of their posters.
We need a minimum of 52 posters – one for each week of the year -but many more are needed so that we can rotate and post the weekly message until every local resident heeds the message.
Please contact if you would like your school or Scout, Boys Brigade or Beavers group to join in.
