Nottingham’s annual free Bonfire Night celebrations at the Forest Recreation Ground will mean restricted access to the nearby park and ride site.
NET’s Marketing Manager, Jamie Swift said: “It’s a hugely popular event which will take place on Thursday 5 November and from 4pm that evening there will be no access to the Forest park & ride site except for disabled drivers.
“The site will be open as usual during the day and people who have parked there before 4pm will still be able to leave with their vehicles at any time.”
Jamie added that The Forest tram stop will be open as usual throughout the event and that NET will be putting on extra trams during the evening to help people get to the celebrations. Further details will be announced early next week.
