Good quality second-hand children’s toys, clothes and books, sports, nursery and baby equipment will be on sale at the Life Sale being held 9am to 11am on Saturday 12th November at the Nottingham Emmanuel School off Wilford Lane, West Bridgford.
All items are sorted and quality controlled by the sale team before the sale. Buyers have the chance to browse good quality children’s products and also enjoy coffee and cake at the Life Sale café, serving fairtrade refreshments in support of The Friary Drop-In Centre.
Buyers will be able to pick up bargains in time for Christmas and also help raise money for two charities. The 50p entrance fee and 30% of the sellers’ profits will go to The Friary Drop-in in West Bridgford (www.friarydrop-in.org.uk) and Education for Life in Mombasa, Kenya (www.educationforlife.org).
Any unsold items will be returned to the seller or donated to local projects such as the Friary, the Arches project and Barnados.
The Life Sale was started five years ago with support from the Kwon Sale team in Bramcote. It is run by a team of volunteers from different churches in West Bridgford. For more information on the event, visit www.lifesale.org or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
