A young entrepreneur from Ruddington has won a bronze award for a top designed for women to breastfeed discreetly in public.
Since last November, Olivia Swift had been working on the design and the tops have been manufactured right here in Nottingham.
Olivia told the Local News: “I launched the product in March at The Baby Show at London’s Excel.
“I was approached by the magazine editor for Mumii UK, who showed an interest in my product and wanted to know if I would like to partake in their awards.
“The Best Baby and Toddler Gear Awards are well renowned and I was entered into the category for Best of British for Parents.
“After meticulous product testing from mothers and parents over the past few months, I was thrilled to learn that my breastfeeding tops won the bronze award.
“This is a significant achievement for both myself and my brand, Lotus Maternity, as hundreds of products are entered into this competition.
“Just to be shortlisted is very well respected, so to walk away with an award is very special.”
