The ladies team at Plumtree Cricket Club was formed in 2007 and it continues to grow in size.
They welcome players of all ages and abilities to come and join the ladies section of the club.
In the summer, they play in Division 3 of the Women’s Midlands League, as well as competing in the midweek Nottinghamshire T20 Development League, which has a strong focus on bringing juniors and new players into ladies’ league cricket.
They aim to provide competitive cricket for experienced players and plenty of matches and for development players.
They train every Thursday almost all-year round. In the summer training is held from 6-8pm at Plumtree Cricket Club.
During the winter, they have weekly training at a local school and play in a women’s indoor league on Tuesdays.
The club also hold regular socials throughout the year including games nights and meals out.
For the 2017 season, they have level 2 coach Sue Moore working with them throughout the summer.
Additionally, seven of the current women’s squad all hold ECB coaching qualifications and are committed to improving the standard of all players.
If you are interested in joining the ladies section, then please get in contact via email firstname.lastname@example.org or contact ladies captain Kelly Sladen on 07536074464.
