Digital marketing agency Impression has been shortlisted in three categories at the East Midlands Chamber Business Awards 2016 – hot on the heels of being crowned Nottinghamshire’s Small Business of the Year in May.
The city centre firm is a finalist in the Employer of the Year, Small Business of the Year and Entrepreneur of the Year categories, and will find out whether it has won at a gala award ceremony at The Nottingham Belfry Hotel on September 9.
The good news comes just two months after founders Tom Craig and Aaron Dicks were named East Midlands Fastest Owner Manager at the East Midlands Fastest 40 Awards.
Impression also won New Business of the Year award – and was a runner up in the Creative Industries Business of the Year category – at the Nottingham Post Business Awards in May.
Mr Dicks said: “It’s been an amazing year for the company so far and we’re really proud to be up for another local award. To get any sort of recognition like this is a huge achievement for our team and helps boost our reputation and credibility as one of the leading digital marketing agencies in the region.”
Founded in 2012, the company employs more than 20 digital marketing professionals across SEO, PPC, PR, content marketing, design and web development. It will go up against digital marketing agency Hallam Internet and recruitment firm Recart for the coveted Employer of the Year title.
East Midlands Chamber’s chief executive Scott Knowles said: “As always, we had a bumper crop of entries and our sponsors had a difficult task in whittling the entrants in each category down to a final three. We have a good cross-section of businesses represented this year and they all deserve their place on the list.”
The winners of the Chamber’s 2016 Business Awards in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire will go on to compete in the British Chamber of Commerce’s (BCC) regional business awards for the East Midlands, with those that win then progressing into the BCC’s national awards in November.
