Earlier this year, The Local News reported that Clifton became host to the first permanent holistic and craft market at the park gate community centre.
Each month the market, held on the first Saturday of every month, has overseen a variety of unique stalls which consisted of handmade crafts and holistic therapies.
Businesses from all over the Nottingham area have benefitted greatly from the market, including Kerryanne and Kevin of Hare Cat and Moon, who travel from Lincoln to join the market in Clifton every month.
Speaking exclusively to the Local News, Organiser Alice Johnson said she was delighted with how the market had progressed, and hopes for more of the same going into 2018.
She said: “The 15 minute Reiki sessions with Emma have proven to be a big hit with the local residents, and alongside that we have returning customers for crystals and personalised gifts as well as the fairy lanterns.
“It has taken a while for us to be noticed but thanks to the Local News, people are finally starting to realise that we’re here.”
“I’m really hopeful and optimistic the market will continue to grow next year and benefit both the residents of Clifton and the crafters.”
