Dumbo and Dirty Dancing feature at free outdoor Sunday cinema

23/08/2019 by Digital Media

Dumbo (PG) and Dirty Dancing (12) are the star attractions at this Sunday’s (August 25) free outdoor Sunday Cinema at Bridgford Park in West Bridgford.

Families and individuals are invited to bring picnic chairs and blankets to the screenings at 2pm and 6pm respectively, with plenty of cinema treats available including Pick and Mix, popcorn and a licenced bar operated by Copper Café, West Bridgford, from 1pm.

Organisers Rushcliffe Borough Council is encouraging event goers to arrive by public transport wherever possible and with Notts Outlaws facing Yorkshire Vikings at nearby Trent Bridge at 3.30pm, motorists are advised local car park spaces are expected to be limited.

Bridge Field on Bridgford Road will only be available for cricket parking so wherever possible it’s advised to leave the car at home.

The screenings will still go ahead in inclement weather so visitors are advised to dress for the great British summer!

Parents or guardians accompanying children to the events are asked to adhere to the film’s certification.
